Birthday Party Packages

NATURE makes Great Birthday Memories…

Stokes Nature Center offers a unique venue to host your child’s birthday celebration!

Our birthday package includes a 2-hour rental of Stokes Nature Center, (refer to our rental page to view pictures of the building interior), supplies for you to lead your choice of two nature-based activities for up to 20 children, and a Logan Canyon Children’s Forest swag bag for the birthday child.

SNC does not provide cake or ice cream but you are welcome to bring your own!  Decorations can be provided for an extra fee (see below). LCD projector is available for no additional charge.

Note: Renter is responsible for leading all activities - each activity comes with all supplies needed and an activity guide for the chaperones to use.
SNC staff members will not remain on site during the party. All trash must be taken out by the renter. A cleaning fee will be added if the building is not left in its original condition.

Birthday Activity Options - (Choice of 2; supplies for up to 20 party participants) 

  • Birding Bingo: Ages 3-12

    • Party participants will use birding bingo half sheets, bird guides, and binoculars (up to 6 pairs provided) to explore around the outside of the nature center and learn about the birds living there.

    • Suggested season(s) - Fall, Summer, Spring

  • Native Wildflower Seed Bombs: Ages 3-12

    • Party participants will create native seed clay balls to plant in a planter at home or throw in their backyard to grow native wildflowers.

    • Suggested season(s) - Any season!

  • Nature Masks: Ages 3-12

    • Party participants will cut and color masks of local, native animals while learning about camouflage.

    • Suggested season(s) - Any season!

  • Snowflake Salt Painting: Ages 3-12

    • Party participants will use magnifying glasses and black paper to observe snowflakes outside and then create salt paintings of snowflakes inside.

    • Suggested season(s) - Winter

  • Animal Tracks Mystery: Ages 3-12

    • Party participants will use science to create an invisible ink that can be used to reveal tracks of different animals (humans, included!)

    • Suggested season(s) - Any season!
